The unkillable Russian returns and actually isn't all that hard to kill this time. Funny reference there, with the shot in the eye.
I'd actually been waiting for and expecting Mikhail's return. I'm glad we got to see him again, however briefly.
And just to remind us who to cheer for, Widmore makes it sound like a very very bad thing, if MIB leaves the island.
Yeah, it's weird to see him appear to be on the side of good.
Why did he have to talk to Jin? They could have taken a lot more tranquilized people off the beach than just him.
Well, he'd already spoken to Sawyer and Jin was the only other Lostie among Locke's camp whose name was on the list of candidates.
Why does MIB need Jacob's candidates to get off the island? I suspect it's only so they can't do Jacob's job. Or is there more to it?
One of the candidates is the new Guardian. He can't leave unless the guardian goes with him. Since he doesn't know which one it is, he has to make sure he has them all with him.

He can't be too happy, his wife is shagging two other guys on FlashForward.
I liked the exchange about why Smokey couldn't travel over water and Sawyer's, "Yeah, cause that would be silly."
