AND...Little House on the Prairie was a one of my favorite shows as a kid.
I had zero patience for plot or character exposition as a little kid. To be foisted off with this big-haired version of my least favorite member of the Carwright family and no gun fights, was cruel and unusual to my mind. I trace my instinctive distruct for authority to this period in my life, and I am sure this is not a coincidence.
And you obviously were never a little girl too clever by half. Not that there was ever any real doubt, but I think this closes the matter.
