I feel very sorry for Claire. Although I find Flocke surprisingly open in terms of his explanation, and imagine he was telling at least a partial truth to Kate, it still doesn't explain how/why Claire was lured away from Aaron in the first place. Aaron may have a crazy mother now, but the 'I gave her something to hate' psychology has turned her into a deranged killer. So um, yeah, she's still alive, but at what cost? Flocke just made her into a useful tool--perhaps that was his intention all along? If he really cared about her sanity and health, surely he'd of come up with something else.
ALSO: Did Claire experience the time shifts the way the other Left Behinders did? That must have been a terrifying thing to experience alone...no wonder she's a mess. And yet if she did shift around, it's amazing she never ran into the Dharma folks or the Others in all that time. Well, maybe she met the Others. Did she not shift?
Other thoughts...I was really hoping that a Sawyer-centric episode would somehow feature Juliet. Was not expecting Charlotte, but it worked. Loved the Miles/Sawyer buddy angle. Miles is just a great 'buddy' character, whether it's with Hurley or Sawyer. Who is Miles' girlfriend? Juliet?
Interesting that although Anthony Cooper still conned Sawyer's parents, he didn't end up going so far as to push his son John out a window, although Locke is still paralyzed. And yet I doubt Locke would want to invite his dad to the wedding if his father had been responsible.
Sawyer is destined to read a battered copy of Watership Down. Awwww...
And Sayid is now a complete psychopath.
I am totally psyched for the Richard-centric episode next week.
AND...Little House on the Prairie was a one of my favorite shows as a kid.

The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo.

They told me it was a Western show, starring Little Joe Cartwright.
