July 2nd, 1996. I was working at a movie theater and was getting ready for the first show to let out so I could clean it. I walked in to Independence Day near the end and stood in the back. When Randy Quaid flies into the ship and it gets taken out, I started clapping. Within moments, the entire theater was clapping, cheering, and standing ovation-ing!
Now that was an experience unlike any other I had.
