Was the image of Christian that appeared to Jack in Season 5 a Smokey image or a Jacob image?
More importantly, what about the Christian who appeared to Locke when he was about to spin the wheel inside the island?
Now it would be easy to say "that was Smokey on the way to his endgame all along", but Christian said "Say Hello to my son" without John being able to ask quickly enough who that son was. Why would Smokey do that, if not to make it easier for Locke to convince Jack to get back to the island. Without Locke's knowledge of the relation it seems pointless. Or: it wasn't Smokey.
Gaah! Too many questions!
I know. And so little time left!

I wouldn't call Claire the new Rousseau. They're actually opposite.

Kate Austen was on the lighthouse dial as number 51, not crossed off.

Interesting that name 108 on the dial is Wallace. Possibly a shoutout to David Wallace?
