Many moons ago, I believe as we were waiting for some free comedy to start at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Ben told me I needed to see Chuck. He said it was better than Big Bang theory. I expressed serious doubts, none of which were dispelled by his summary of the plot:
guy gets defence database downloaded into brain; hilarity ensues.
It is the title, more than anything, which made me doubt it. It does not sound like something that would be good or even remotely funny. The title suggests something like The King of Queens (is that what it is called?)
I stand corrected.
I was wrong (don't often say that).
I will start trusting Ben's tastes more (don't often say that, either).
It is more than what the premise sounds like. Light clean fun for the whole family. With the one Baldwin that it is possible to say rocks one's world without having to resort to harakiri afterwards.
I am only a few episodes in, but I like. It is snappy.
