I think Dexter is in for a world of trouble next season if anyone at the police station rembers Dexter talking to Arthur.
It would demonstrate premeditation on Arthur's part. That perhaps he is stalking the Morgans, what with his daughter shooting Debra and so on. What he really has to do is avoid the Mitchells so no one learns he is "Kyle Butler." I would anticipate them pinning the diappearance of Arthur in the middle of his cycle on "Kyle" once one of the Mitchells mentions him choking and threatening Arthur.
