After watching all season, and being disappointed from the second hour of the pilot onward, I can say that I will not be returning to watch anymore SGU. There was nothing in the first 10 episodes, other than Eli's quips that was remotely interesting about this show. It does not have anything in common with previous 'Gates, aside from the occasional travel through the ring.
The characters, for the most part, are uninteresting. The drama happens for the sake of drama and seems VERY forced. There was great potential with the ship, but it was left almost completely untapped. We still know not a damn thing about the Destiny. The One thing they introduced (the chair) is still a complete unknown as of this last episode.
I gave it a chance, more than I do any other new series. It just failed to impress on any level.

Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.
Beckett: Me too.

Not completely pulled in, but there's 1/2 a season left for me to really like it.

Two big things are missing that BSG had going for it: Real emotion and a stellar soundtrack *NM*
