It's where we first really get a feel for who River is. We get a nice little look at normal life beyond the Alliance and the cities. And of course it has the most iconic line in the entire show, which I still love to pieces to this day. It made me grin even when I watched the original broadcast on tv seven years ago.

It's a little depressing to think that it's been that long. I was barely 19 when I watched its original tv run. Was I ever so young, or is it merely a trick of the memory?
