First he let aliens blow up the white house, Godzilla damage New York, then he froze the world. This time Roland Emmerich simply sends the whole planet to hell.

Reminds me of Tropic Thunder's intro with Stiller's Scorch movies. haha

I saw the movie as well, and I was rooted in my seat! Woody Harrelson wasn't bad either; I expected to be annoyed, but wasn't. And the kid from Psych (Noah, Jackson's son) did a pretty outstanding job. Also, I wonder if this film will put Amanda Peet back on the map.

There were a lot of touching moments in the movie, and breathtaking scenes; especially the one with the Indian family silhouetted against the incoming tsunami.

There was one cringe-worthy (eye rolling) moment: when Danny Glover said, "the world as we know it is coming to an end". RLY?!? lol

All in all, a great Apocalypse movie.
BOHICA - Go ahead, ask me what it means.
