We'll have to wait and see whether it really improves on The Message, though, which is not actually that bad, and I'm not sure why it needs a remake if they're just gonna do the same things (incidentally, any remake needs to include the completely kick-ass song they sing at the Prophet's entry in Medina).

Getting Qaradawi in on it is sure to cause controversy, even while keeping the content lame and predictable. So meh. I guess at least including him guarantees it won't come to violent reactions, but still... they could've gone for some slightly less reactionary cleric advisors, or just done it without any advisors and a religious adherence to Ibn Ishaq's biography.
