Even notable male scifi writers have relied upon the closest women in their lives to inspire, critique, edit and help their work reach fuller scope. Our very own RJ and his lovely Harriet, for example. And it is well-known that Heinlein relied on his wife Ginny in these manners, and in fact many of the engineering aspects of his novels were worked out mathematically by his wife. So, women have been extremely influential and contributed heavily to scifi.

Yay ladies!
