I agree that science fiction is changing, and in many ways it is changing for the worse. It seems to turning into fantasy in space. Now this is not bad as long as it means diversification. The old hard science fiction has gotten the boot from editors.
Foundation - bad, Twilight - good isn't were I want to be. I wouldn't say it's generally due to feminization, because there are quite a few women who study engineering and exact sciences today. I'm sure those women or the girls they were before studying could enjoy Asimov just as much as I would.
Okay, this getting rantish so I'll stop.

Agree. The article seemed more a jab at SciFi / SyFy than pertinent to anything else.
