This show is seriously awesome. I can't wait to get more info about what the kid saw. The fact that she knew the autistic kid is crazy and scary. The doll section was great as was the bathroom stuff...and the and then there were two. Hit on all cylinders for me.
Oh wow, Flashforward is seriously kicking ass so far. I like how it's not being all just straight-faced action sci-fi show and including some gorgeous direction (like the opening and the cuts during Aaron's speech), intense creepiness (dolls!) and all-out comedy (who is Courtney B. Vance and where has he been all my life?)
Anyway, I'm mainly making this post to record the following theory so that when I turn out to be right I can gloat about it:
Jack Davenport is not the kid's father.
Think about it, it's the textbook Alan York gambit. The set-up for his introduction is perfect, allowing for an imposter to seamlessly step in. "Lloyd" is British yet his kid is American, and yes I know there's plausible explanations for this but it's far more suspicious than if "Lloyd" was American. Also, and most importantly, his kid is autistic. A major mental disability that could conveniently prevent him from realising and/or informing others that his dad isn't really his dad.
