As for your theory... ironclad Send a noteboard - 03/10/2009 05:05:16 PM

Think about it, it's the textbook Alan York gambit. The set-up for his introduction is perfect, allowing for an imposter to seamlessly step in. "Lloyd" is British yet his kid is American, and yes I know there's plausible explanations for this but it's far more suspicious than if "Lloyd" was American. Also, and most importantly, his kid is autistic. A major mental disability that could conveniently prevent him from realising and/or informing others that his dad isn't really his dad.

We had an autistic intern this spring, he came with an aide. She told us that it's very important for him to have familiar faces around him, in order to function. So a random stranger going to an autistic kid's bed and claiming to be his dad does not seem all that likely.
That being said, there are probably many forms of autism the creators of the show read about, so what do I know?
You being so adamant about it makes me think you read somewhere "Davenport cast as FF villain" or something :P
I dunno, I somehow hope he is a good character.

But yeah excellent episode! Especially the bathroom talk was hilarious. And the doll factory scene pretty interesting. Now I got my gf hooked as well ^^
