Well it seems like you can be a Wookie, Bith, Jawa, Ewok or Rancor... but god help you if you appear in the Star Wars galaxy as a woman or a black man (green yes, black no).

I wonder if Mace Windu was also considered to be a tick box character? He ultimately became my favourite Jedi of all. I can't think of a SW character I like more.

And as an even more personal comment... I always wanted there to be a female dark Jedi to follow Darth Maul, but they elected to get an old man who in real life was almost 90 when we played the role. Horrific.
