Because with all that unrelenting grim action there's nothing to add a touch of levity.

I liked Casino Royale the first time I watched it, but it didn't stand up under second viewing. The others won't get a second viewing because they just weren't good enough. I love rewatching the old Bond films.


Some of the old ones are so cheesy and I still watch them whenever they're on! I have yet to rewatch a Craig Bond, even though I enjoyed them as long as they lasted on the big screen.
