Not "white."
That is, throughout the many people who have played Bond, pretty much the only consistent fact of the character is that he is a British secret agent. (Yes, they've all been white, but that's never germane to the plot, while the fact that he is a British spy generally is).
I don't really care, one way or the other. Just like when there was an Internet meme that Donald Glover should play Spider-man. It doesn't really matter if Spider-Man is black, white, latino, whatever, as long as he's a nerdy smartass with spider powers, who often has to deal with conflict in his personal life.
