as I was coming here to post. I pretty much agree with you and your feelings so far. Here are my episode centered thoughts...

1st Episode - Should have been longer...maybe 90 minutes? It was very rushed. They attempted to introduce so many characters. I'm half-surprised they didn't attempt to shoehorn in five or six other characters. They got who....Catwoman, Ivy, Riddler, Penguin. Did I miss anyone else?

2nd Episode - Much better. It had a vibe of being a bit more Law & Order and a bit less Comic Book Show. Jada's character is growing on me. It would actually be a good sub-plot to have her battle against Falcone....two people without any major super-power type personality. Instead just a mob leadership struggle. Could be refreshing in a setting such as this.

Now for my character thoughts...

Bruce Wayne - angst-y teen with too much money? meh As an actor, he hasn't screwed it up yet. We'll see.

Selina Kyle - Honestly...the locket fell out during a hide for your life scenario? Bonus points for the eye gouge. And apparently, no one looks up, because she's chilling right there most of the time. We'll see how she does as an actress.

Penguin - Not bad. Having him snitch out to MCU was interesting. Seeing his mom/home life was a very good adaption. This season's Big Bad?

Fish - As mentioned before, Jada's character is growing on me. We'll see where she takes it.

Jim Gordon - Took me forever to realize that was the OC guy. So far he's not that bad. Is his girlfriend/fiance something more/greater/darker? That would be interesting...especially considering the cannon that would be his children (if this woman is the mother of his children).

Alfred - A bit too gruff British man for me. I wouldn't mind a more cuddly Brit. We'll see.

So yeah...there we go. Need conversation. Work sucks.
