It's like, some movie makers have a distinctive style. Bay's just happens to be pretty bad.
The whole thing just felt like I was watching Transformers, for some reason.
Megan Fox... listen, I'll say this. She is very good at wearing tight jeans. But acting is super hard, and I think she proves that the two skills don't have much overlap.
Will Arnett was kind of funny, but felt incredibly miscast. The best possible outcome of this movie would be if it gets worked into the next season of Arrested Development, where it is revealed that GOB was in this movie. Honestly, the acting makes much more sense if you picture it as GOB trying to act, rather than Will Arnett doing it.
I liked the turtles, I thought they looked neat. They weren't amazing or whatever, but they were distinctive and mildly amusing. I wish Donatello didn't wear glasses, though.
Finally, why was Whoopi Goldberg in this movie? It was so abrupt and bizarre that I was disoriented whenever she was on the screen. She wasn't... Whoopi. Like, her characters are generally pretty distinctive. But her playing of "News Show Producer" was indistinguishable from any generic middle aged white guy.
Also nobody eats Pizza Hut in NYC.
