View original postDan Harmon has confirmed that he has returned to COMMUNITY after sitting out the fourth season (which has gotten lukewarm reviews compared to the rest of the series). He credits lead actor Joel McHale for leading the efforts to have him reinstated.
it was wonderful news to hear. Hopefully there will be a more nuanced approach in the next season. The last season was a bit like watching a modern episode of the Simpsons; all the story beats were there, but the smaller moments, in-between the plot turns and machinations, that make you actually care for the characters were solely lacking.
