I rationalize that by assuming that the curing agent from Khan's blood gets integrated into future medicine, and is taken into account when radiation levels are stated. When Worf warns that radiation in the ship is reaching dangerous levels, perhaps that's a level already far above what would have been fatal before Khan-medicine.
Yeah that's fair enough. I can't argue that, but I can nitpick certain parts of your rationale. It seems to me like a lot of people have a hard time suspending disbelief when things don't go as they expect, even if there are reasonable (or at least plausible) alternative explanations.
