I believe we are going to see the following events in Season 3.

Mainland Westeros

Season 3 big deal is going to deal with the "change of fate" Melisandre's blood/fire magic is going to cause. We are going to see how the blood magic of the "three leeches" and how these three events will change the map of mainland westeros completely

The first leech we are going to see is the leech of Balon Greyjoy. His casting into the fire is going to happen in Season 3. We are not going to see the kingsmoot until Season 4. Note in the books the events of Balon Greyjoy happened about 3 weeks prior to the RW, and the events of the Kingsmoot happened about the same week as the RW. This confuses some people for the story of the Kingsmoot happens in Book 4 A Feast For Crows, yet it occurs at the same time as the RW which happens in Book 3 A Storm of Swords. The events of the PW follow the events of the Kingsmoot while PW happen in book 3 while Kingsmoot happen in book 4.

The second leech we are going to see is the leech of the RW. This is going to happen around episode 9 of Season 3 based off of the episode title.

The third leech we are going to see is the leech of the PW. This is going to happen in Season 4 and we are not going to see any of it in Season 3. Do not forget the PW sets off the chain of events that lead to the Red Viper affair. I expect the very end of Season 4 will deal with the Red Viper affair, probably around episode 9 of Season 4, and the events of episode 10 are the after effects of the Red Viper affair.

Dany.

In the Book 3 ASOS Dany deals with the three main cities of Slaver's bay.
1) Astapor the city of the unsullied which we see in Episode 1
2) Yunkai we are going to see the events of the city Yunkai near the end of Season 3 for we know the names of episode 8 and episode 10 and those name of those episodes deal with Dany's story involving the second city.
3) Meereen the final slaver city of Slavers Bay. We have no clue how they are going to hande Meereen for some events of Meereen have already occurred for example Barristan Selmy has revealed himself at the beginning of tv ASOS, season 3, instead near the end of book 3 which should be around season 4 of the tv. We also know in the book that Dany is still stuck in Meereen in book 5 so we have no clue how Meereen is going to be strung out.
