How do you think they'll work with AFfC and DwD? They focus on different PoV's throughout each book so I'm wondering if they'll split the books down the middle and merge or keep the separate books running in different seasons. I'm not sure if there's been any speculation on this or if GRRM has said anything.

I'm thinking they might be better off merging halves of the books together because, for some reason, I simply don't trust viewers to understand that their favorite characters will come back next season so they should suffer through if they don't like the people they're following. And let's just hope that season 4 isn't the same quality as AFfC.

EDIT: I probably should have actually checked first...I found this online:

Well… “A Storm of Swords” is too long to fit in a single season. And as readers know, “A Feast for Crows” and “A Dance with Dragons” takes place during roughly the same time frame, so we’ll have to fold those together. The plan, if we’re lucky enough to be given the opportunity to see it through, is to use as many seasons as we need to tell the story as a whole, to do justice to George’s entire opus.

Honestly, I didn't even know they wouldn't finish up SoS. I think I heard that the season will end shortly after the RW. I thought that that was the end of the books too. So...is this where the season actually will end?

Go Hokies!

CS/CpE. Yay engineering!
