I'm 99% sure Alexis was the one intended to be kidnapped, not the Egyptian girl. First, the title of the episode is "Target." It's different enough from the way other episodes are titled that it means something.
Also, the kidnappers used Alexis' webiste to find out where the other girl would be. The chances of finding that kind of information from a friend's website seem slim to the point that it's not worth the effort. Unless they were the best of friends, of which there is no indication. So, logically, Alexis was the target.
