Greetings, you active posters, you: anyone watching Netflix's House of Cards?

For those who don't know, Netflix is attempting to become HBO and so is investing in their own original content. "House of Cards" is their first big-budget purchase, and all 13 episodes of the first season were released for streaming a couple of days ago.
Anyway, I won't write up a giant review but I will say that I enjoy the show and definitely think it's worth your time. Kevin Spacey is Kevin Spacey, and his supporting cast does a great job. It's a character-drive drama, and all of the personalities are interesting and/or likeable. The plot is nothing you haven't seen before on The West Wing (or whatever other political shows exist) but it's solid enough as a backdrop. As far as adult content goes, House of Cards is (thus far) somewhere between standard network tv and HBO. It's definitely not family friendly, but I don't feel quite as awkward recommending it to relatives as I would an HBO show.
So. Yeah. Not a lot of info from me, but the reviews are out there if you'd like a more detailed look at the show. For those who have watched it. . .discuss! Opinions, thoughts, questions?

The Brit series it's based on was extremely good.

I think it's more likely that the studios just want an easy source of new material.

But there are a lot of British shows we import as-is are that are very popular.

Yes, and although Spacey didn't sound like someone from Gaffney, SC it was great.
