What happens when you are really good at your job but you get no respect for doing it? How do you change your image? These are questions that are at the heart of this wonderful movie.

Wreck-It Ralph is villain in his game. But all the other characters pay him very little attention when the game is not being played. After 30 years, it takes a toll. So he decides to leave his game one day so that he can change his image and jumps from one game to the next, meeting a plethora of entertaining people and Wrecking havoc along the way.

The visual style of the movie is heavily influenced by both Disney and video games. Each of the different games that Ralph visits has it's own style and influence. If you have any experience in video games, you will find references all of the place. Little things in the background that will make you smile with nostalgia, like the LEROY JENKINS grafiti on the walls or the Pong match going on in the background.

The voice acting was excellent. I expect nothing less from John C. Reilly as Ralph. He is one of the more entertaining actors around and he brings out the vulnerability in Ralph. Jane Lynch's character (sorry, can't remember her name) will remind everyone of a more badass, militant version of Coach Sue Sylvester on Glee. The real surprise in this is Sarah Silverman. I mean, be honest with yourself. She is not funny. Her humor is that brand of awkward where you laugh because you are uncomfortable and are just trying to break the tension. Thankfully, NONE of her own brand of humor is in this. She brings her Vanillape (Vanilla Pea is the pronunciation) to life and is quite charming.

I found myself leaving the theater wanting to turn around and walk right back into it for another show, which doesn't happen that often for me.

I would give it 4 out of 5 quarters.
Castle: This is so weird. I dressed up as him for Halloween.

Beckett: Me too.
