Without spoiling anything about the plot
Could you at least provide enough to match what the trailers are providing and explain WTF is going on? All I know is something about Bruce Willis meeting his younger self, and then the rest is explosions.
Loopers are killers who regularly receive a message with a date. They drive out into the fields, where a blind folded and tied person sent from the future appears in front of their readied shot gun. That's how the future mob gets rid of people without having to deal with a corpse in their time.
The big player in said future named Rainmaker decided to "close the loops" which means he is sending the old killers back to their younger selves with shitloads of money attached to them. The young ones kill their older selves, get rich, "lose their job" and live a happy live of spending until that certain day in the future comes.
Unless they decided not to kill their future self and suddenly have the other Loopers on their heels.
