The first one especially. The second one didn't do much for me, the third was decent but strange, and the fourth was good, but the first one was very good. It could make a good movie if they do it well.

I didn't know there was a new book out. I'll have to look into that. I didn't really like the writing style in the fourth one (too clipped), but the character came through enough to offset it.
