Objectification and sexualization is all good and well, but if it isn't the objectification and sexualization that we enjoy seeing we are unlikely to watch it. I could see a guy consenting to watch it because he dragged his girlfriend or wife to see a movie that she didn't want to see, but not actively wanting to go watch it.
I just got more of a "Why did they even make this movie!" vibe from his vehemence. Must be my interpretation radar is off today ...
