In seriousness, though, you chose an odd thread to make such a statement about. Or more likely, you just didn't read the thread, which is understandable as it does have rather a lot of posts in it... so I'll just save you the effort and let you know that as far as controversial threads go, that one was actually sort of a model. People argued, the tone was sometimes hard, but at the end of the day there was rather more consensus and understanding for the other side's viewpoint than there generally is in such cases. Who knew arguing on the internet could actually lead to such results? Maybe we should do it more often!
