Otherwise, my only complaint is that Davos already seems to be performing a role very much like Hand of the King. On various reviews and character introductions I've seen him mentioned as Stannis' right hand man, which isn't even remotely true at this point in the storyline. I understand that they probably can't get into the whole brood of relatives of Stannis' wife (whatever their family name is, I can't recall), and the divisions in his ranks between old believers and new, but this still cheapens Davos' progression. If he starts out high in Stannis' counsel, the his advancement later on become merely a formality, rather than a significant turning point in his arc.
