1) Oh, I do want to say one good thing about the show before I leave this thread. Kahlan in general is wonderful (everyone knows this), but more particularly, her magic is done perfectly. The actual effects are changed a bit, (her victims don't follow her because they love her unconditionally and overwhelmingly), but the way it's actually used is amazing. The slowing of time, blurring of surroundings, focus on her eyes, small "whump" that occurs afterward. . .exactly as I pictured it. If she would use that at least once per show, I think I'd watch every episode and not get sick of it. I'm embarrassed to say, but it gives me goosebumps to watch.
Those scenes are the ones I really watch for.
