There was never one character I really liked and it was difficult to think of the commander after seeing him in Avatar. It was just a hash of sad cliches from the angsty teenage son to the squabbling factions that reminded me too much of the idiotic gangsters in Waterworld. The effects were also horrendous for a modern series... jurassic park had far more impressive dinosaurs.

I was really hoping for something new and creative especially with such an interesting idea, but it fell flat.
