The first time I watched it, I cried for three hours (I was a hormonal teenager, so sue me). I watched it again only last week. It is wonderful. So lovely.

As I said below, I am ready to give it a chance when it crosses my path. But it's probably hard to appreciate a film of which the ending has been spoiled for decades. It also sounds a bit chick-flickish, but we'll see.

Chick-flick? Seriously?

He has said he will watch it. I don't think it's a chick flick (not even remotely), but we'll see what he thinks after. Hopefully. He better post!


I am just wondering about his definition of a chick flick. Anything that does not primarily consist of explosions?
