But I'm a slightly left-leaning Canadian socialist, so. I don't really pay attention to or care about what sort of politics a show might have. Either I like a show, I don't like a show, or I've never watched a show. Those are clear, useful divisions for me.
As a former journalist, the fifth season was especially interesting to me, but really I liked them all. Very high quality show.

IIRC, the show had some very liberal writers and some conservative ones.
