I don't know why, but I really don't enjoy them. Knowing it's a just a movie doesn't help me at all. The psych thrillers just make my brain go off on tangents that it doesn't need to take, and gory disgusting jump-out-at-me types just make me feel the need to carry a hockey stick around so that I can beat the sh!t out of anything that tries to attack me.

If I count Hitchcock, my title may be a lie. I've seen several of the "horror" ones, and I liked them. They are different though.
