The current wave of remakes and reboots raises one question: Where does it stop?
Which films do you think will stand the test of time and not get a remake for the next 50 years? Or Ever? Is there anything sacred? Will people be content with what Jackson has done with the Lord of the Rings books or will there be new efforts in a few decades? What if George Lucas decides to remake his old trilogy? Will there be enough bodyguards in the world to safe his life?
So: Which films do you think will never have to go through this. And why?
And which films would you actually like to get remade, maybe because they didn't age so well?
