she was able to bind Antonia's spirit to her body. Also keep in mind that Marnie learned a lot from Antonia during their communion. Even Antonia couldn't kill vampires by herself when she was alive. She needed a full circle to provide her with the energy coupled with her own death I believe. I think the show revealed to us that a witch's power boost comes from binding powerful spirits or demons to themselves. (ie Jesus's demon; lol, wow there's something I thought I'd never say)

Marnie's a medium like Laf. Until we get some confirmation I'm thinking that necromancy is something you either have or don't have, it can't be learned.
But yeah, more witches means more power. Marnie was able to use Antonia's power just like she could use Roy or the others. We really don't know anything about Jesus's demon, save that it's some part of his family's sinister magic.
Btw, I was really pissed that none of the surviving humans gets it through their hick heads that the vampires are monsters, especially Sookie. She just watched Eric rip Roy's heart out and suck the blood through a vein like a straw and then proceeds to cast moon eyes at him? She's a fucking race traitor that's what she is. Marnie was the best thing that happened to the human race, imo, despite her downward spiral. She just needed a smarter coven to keep her in line. Too bad Holly and Jesus were the only real witches in the group.

Well, all that vampire blood makes Sookie more amicable towards Eric. Other than that, hell yeah. Sookie has seen the true face of vampires time and time again. Narcissistic sociopaths, every single one of them. Yet she seems very comfortable knowing how violent and unpredictable the men she loves are. I don't get her.
I was rooting for Marnie, too. But her motives weren't really clear to me (she wasn't entirely altruistic) and she was far too willing to rationalize the killing of innocent people.
I don't think Alcide will become packmaster, especially of Shreveport. Firstly, they would've had to duel with the pack watching. Second, he's too much of a loner to be part of a pack. Lastly, he's proven that he doesn't care about anyone else but Sookie, like the rest of the god-damned male supernaturals.

Minor details, Alcide becoming packmaster sounds like the logical solution to me. The strong, intelligent, solitary figure taking responsibility of something bigger than himself..it's a cliche that IMO will happen.
By the way. No more Hot Shot, ever? I can't say that I'm disappointed.
