If you are implying that I am posting about The Hour just because of Romola Garai...

Set, shockingly , in 1939. It has Romola Garai in it and was pretty good.
... you are not really entirely wrong.
I did in fact watch that movie last week when it was on, yes. It had an impressive list of actors of all generations - not often that you see Christopher Lee and Julie Christie in one movie with new emerging stars like Garai or Charlie Cox, not to mention David Tennant and others.
I liked it, though it seemed a tad, hm, confused. And the modern day storyline was fairly pointless - they might as well have cut that entirely.
My real question now is, is there any historical truth in that? Did elements in the British intelligence services really commit murders of British citizens in an attempt to end British participation in WW2?
The Hour (BBC / BBC America) - anyone else watching it?

Now that's what I call going out with a bang... I did not expect the final episode to be this good.
