Samuel appears to be another multiple power type person, at the very beginning he showed the power to control the Earth. He moved dirt to cover a grave. He also knocked down only one milk jug in the carnival game.
I rewatched the first episode and you're right, he does have other abilities, and I forgot about the milk jug. Could be excellent hand eye coordination. You know, there's an X-Men character named Ink who has powers conferred to him by his tattoos. It was later revealed that a tattoo artist was the one who gave him abilities by drawing the representations of the powers as tattoos. Maybe Samuel is similar?
The speedster I had hoped was just a super agility deal, not a pure copy of Daphne's ability. I am tired of seeing duplicated abilities.
I agree. Hell, I'd forgive them if they looked to Marvel for inspiration. Like maybe other metamorphs like Tracy, but with different elements. And giving Hiro that much power was stupid. It should have been either time manipulation or teleportation, not both.
And I wonder what the deal with the broken compass is. Is Peter special that he was able to cause it to move, or is it just that he has powers and all people with powers can cause it to move?
It looks to be some kind of mutant locator. Maybe Samuel uses it to find recruits for his circus. I mean, his time manipulator was dyin of old age so he recruited Hiro (I assume so anyway).
