I actually did really enjoy it, but (spoilers obv) nossy Send a noteboard - 16/07/2011 03:55:08 PM
some things annoyed me. It's my own fault for having re-read the book so recently though, so I can't say much. I do get that they will change things, but it gets under my skin when they change things that detract (imo) from the feel of the original work.:P

I want to see it again, but I know one thing that got me was the Neville speech/Nagini fight. It seemed so anti-climactic. He got blasted back and knocked out just so they could show Ron/Hermione (awesome!) going after the snake and then more Voldemort drama in the fight with Harry. I <3 Neville, and I thought it really took something from him.

And then major events went past with barely time to blink. I loved the Molly scene, but it was sooo brief. One second we're somewhere else and then we're there and it's over. And I barely even saw what happened to Fred!

At any rate, I did enjoy it, so I don't want to only bitch about it. There was quite a bit to love.
