There's also a new villain in town. A tattoo artist/circus man named Samuel with the power to control ink (ie he strangled someone with a tattoo of a hand). Ray Park is one of his henchmen, a speedster from the looks of it. There's also a tattooed woman, some kind of clairvoyant. And a dying old man that can send people on a time trip.
These new villains have it out for Danko. Something that he took from them that they want back.

Samuel appears to be another multiple power type person, at the very beginning he showed the power to control the Earth. He moved dirt to cover a grave. He also knocked down only one milk jug in the carnival game.
The speedster I had hoped was just a super agility deal, not a pure copy of Daphne's ability. I am tired of seeing duplicated abilities.
And I wonder what the deal with the broken compass is. Is Peter special that he was able to cause it to move, or is it just that he has powers and all people with powers can cause it to move?

Samuel's eulogy and mission seems like he could be a bad guy with good intentions. Magneto-like.

I agree! Hiro needs to go. Seppuku preferably or killed by Ando. Looks like death by powers tho. *NM*

A great start for Heroes. Unfortunately, that's comparatively bad by real world standards.

I thought the same thing about Peter & abilities. Time to suspend some more disbelief. *NM*
