I don't think going with Keith means they need to include Lily Allen as well. I am not familiar with her beyond seeing pics of her online, so I have no idea if she would be good for the role.
My post over at the westeros casting forum has links to good pics for each of these actors, or to their imdb page. Link below
That would make Lily Allen Asha, which I do not see happening
Hmm I don't see that at all.
I really want Davos to be spot on. Not Carlysle, but I can't think of anyone at this point, really.
Never heard of her but after googling that sounds great!
I really like this idea since you first brought it up.
Who is Dontos Hollard?
I heard that Edd is not going to be in the show. I'd love to be wrong, though.
Not bad.
Melisandre will be important and hard to pick too. A menacing to somewhat beautiful red head.
Considering how soon they wanna start shooting, we'll know in a few weeks, I suppose!

Balon Greyjoy -- Keith Allen (yes, in part because of him being Alfie's dad, but he was also awesome on "Robin Hood". Give him a wig, and you're set.

Stannis Baratheon -- Rufus Sewell (I've recently moved firmly into this camp after having previously wanted first Anthony Head then Philip Glenister in this role; the linked picture is what sold me on it)
Hmm I don't see that at all.
Davos Seaworth -- Robert Carlysle (This guy is just awesome, from "Plunkett & McClean" to "Stargate Universe"
I really want Davos to be spot on. Not Carlysle, but I can't think of anyone at this point, really.
Brienne of Tarth -- Eva Damen third one down (I wish this was my idea!)
Never heard of her but after googling that sounds great!
Roose_Bolton -- Sebastian Roche (This guy might not be a Brit, but he can do plenty of accents. He is sort of television shorthand for creepy, given several of the characters I've seen him play on such shows as "Fringe" and "Roar"
I really like this idea since you first brought it up.
Ser Dontos Hollard -- Philip Glenister (After seeing "Life on Mars" I just really want this guy on the show, and Dontos needed to be filled)
Who is Dontos Hollard?
Dolorous Edd -- Robert Sheehan (yeah, I know D-Edd is described as having gray hair, but watching the first couple of episodes of "Misfits" has convinced me that Sheehan could really bring something to this role; and besides, they've already aged down Osha, why not Edd?)
I heard that Edd is not going to be in the show. I'd love to be wrong, though.
Oberyn Martell -- Cliff Simon (for those who are also readers of Wheel of Time, this is the guy I picture for Demandred as well)
Not bad.
Melisandre will be important and hard to pick too. A menacing to somewhat beautiful red head.

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.

Some great choices, but too many famous names in mini roles to be realistic
