So I watched Green Lantern yesterday. I had never even heard of the Green Lantern comics and whatnot until trailers for this movie came out, so I don't know any of the back story or anything.
Regardless, I thought it looked like it might be interesting, but I found the movie to be kinda boring. What did others think? Was it the case that you had to know the history of the comic in order to enjoy it more? I don't know if it was the editting, or just a bad story line but I found the whole thing to be very strange. And I usually enjoy most super-hero, comic book based movies (eg., I very much enjoyed X-Men: First Class )
The climax was not very exciting, the buildup to the climax was pretty boring, the characters did not cause me to feel for them one way or the other, the villain kind of sucked, and on and on...
