The idea doesn't sound entirely fresh, but I am curious enough what they'll make of it.
I suppose I'll give it a look eventually but -- I know this sounds odd coming from a white, well-over 50 female -- I'm put off by the ads, which appear to have no blacks (except for maybe two glimpses of background characters; I couldn't tell), Oriental, or other minorities. What, the 80% of humanity the aliens killed included ALL the non-whites? This irritates the same way that shows and movies set in the D.C. area with all WASP characters do.
