upon rewatching the first 7 eps of HBO's GoT, I came up with an interesting thought (book Spoilers)

I think Ros is going to take Shae's place in the TV series. It always seemed a little odd that they spent so much time with a character that doesn't even show up in the books. The fact that she ends up going to King's Landing makes even less sense, unless I'm right. When Theon talks to her as she's leaving he asks how she can afford to get to King's Landing and she mentions that some of her patrons were more generous than others. Also, in the her first scene in King's Landing it opens with a close up of a gold necklace she's wearing, possibly the same that Tyrion will later use to kill her with, since the Hand is now a pin instead of a chain. Anybody think I might be right?
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
