GoT 1.07 "You Win or You Die" (Early viewers thread) SPOILERS

I figure there are plenty of people who haven't seen this episode yet (from what I understand HBO Go doesn't work outside the states) but I figured I'd put this up for those of us who have.
TYWIN LANNISTER!!! Finally! And boy was Charles Dance just frakking awesome in his performance (though I wish they had shaved his head for the part!) We get our first scene with Jaime in which he is not the dominant or aggressive character, where he is on the other end of that particular stick. Something I don't remember us getting in the books until later with Jaime POVs making their debut. Still nice to see, as despite all of his flaws, Jaime Lannister is indeed one of my favorite characters in the books and show. I tend to agree with those who see Jaime as the "flawed paragon" of knighthood (his flaw being Love, much like Lancelot, though Jaime's does cause him to do very bad things for love, and he knows it). And of course, having a father like Tywin Lannister can frak just about anyone up. All three of his kids have issues, and they all probably stem in one way or another from Tywin. Looking forward to Tyrion/Tywin scenes now.
Back to the Wall finally. I'm starting to become very happy with John Bradley's performance as Samwell Tarly. He's becoming as endearing a character on the show as he is in the books. Kudos.
Over in Essos it was nice to finally see Jason Momoa getting a chance to do something other than sit there looking tough and grim sleeping with Dany. His speech/pledge scene was pretty cool, and he did a good job it seemed with the Dothraki tongue. Considering he auditioned with a haka, I'd say the speech was the sort of bit he was hired for.
And then the perfect ending for the episode: "I did warn you not to trust me." Right where it had to happen.

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.

Brothels are a way of life in this epic story and play an important role. *NM*

The stuff Littlefinger said was really important and needed to be in there.

The problem I have with it is the heavy handedness of some scenes

Agreed, and this is probably the cause, at least in part, of a lot of my complaints above
