Of course, Scott actually got mad at me when I said that was silly because no one would think she was really dead, but there is no reason to think she died. It kind of fails as a cliffhanger in my book, because we all know they won't do Castle without her. Too much of what the show is is wrapped up in their relationship.
I do think that the "death" angle fails, but I'm almost sure that's not what they are going to do. Unless the writers totally failed me, I'm sure they have a crazy way to wrap that up. I keep thinking maybe it is a combo fake-out, and that Castle doesn't know. We'll see, but I wish I could find out THIS Monday.
Now, will she remember Castle's declaration after her recovery, or will she pretend she doesn't remember...that's a different story.
Yeah, I'm not sure what I think about that. I am guessing I'll be highly annoyed it they play it all amnesia-y. I mean, I'm sure he'll stay by her side while she is unconscious/healing, so they shouldn't end up with much time to avoid it unless she does forget. And I don't want it to be that depressingly formulaic (not even Castle formulaic, but typical TV show formulaic, you see what I mean?).
