I am torn on seeing this Camilla Send a noteboard - 12/05/2011 09:21:56 AM
I don't know whether I will be able to take the distance to the mythology which I think the transition via comic book dictates. I couldn't handle 300.

Is the resurrection of the goats tied to the hammer, though? I hadn't heard that. I thought they were special goats who magically got alive again if all bones and suchlike were gathered together over night.

Odin is the son of Bestla and Borr. And he was two brothers.
His grandfather would be Buri, who came out of the Ginnungagap when the goat licked the ice.

Feya's brother is Frey (or Frøy in Norwegian). I think Friday is named after Odin's wife, Frigg (but I wouldn't bet my life on it).

Then again, Stellan Skarsgaard and Anthony Hopkins...
And a superhero film directed by Kenneth Branagh. I am tempted.

That was an excellent review, by the way.

Amusing, but like so often, you are over-analyzing things - 12/05/2011 11:35:34 AM 786 Views
